The Old Ship Hotel is housed in a building that dates all the way back to the 16th century – though the imposing façade is from the Victorian era. The medium sized lobby is appointed in an attractive style that has a distinct nautical flavour to it (as befits the hotel’s name.) The 131 guestrooms feature colourful décor complemented by modern furnishings. Though unique in size and layout, all of them are clean and well maintained, as are the en suite bathrooms. The Location3 Restaurant offers a taste of the continental in a modern setting overlooking Brighton promenade and is a popular eatery with tourists and locals alike. On great summer days, guests can also enjoy the busy street life from the hotel bar's sun-drenched Al Fresco area. Furnished with leather Chesterfield settees, the bar offers a good selection of light meals and snacks from 8.00am to 10.00pm.
