Grand Hotel Description
‘Faded grandeur’ is the phrase most guests tend to offer when describing the Grand Hotel in Brighton. Housed in an iconic Victorian building, it stands centre stage on the Brighton seafront and is a local landmark. Stepping inside, visitors are immediately captivated by the lobby’s marble pillars and sweeping staircase. The 200 medium sized guestrooms, many with sea views, feature luxurious touches like Egyptian cotton duvets to make you feel at home. All are clean and decently maintained, as are the en suite bathrooms. Designed in the same opulent style as the other public areas, the hotel’s Kings restaurant focuses on serving classic English dishes with a contemporary twist using locally sourced ingredients. Alternatively the Victoria bar lounge is open for morning coffee and traditional afternoon tea, as well as light lunches and evening cocktails, accompanied by a resident pianist.

Staff were fantastic - we felt really taken care of
Top Tip
Restaurant in the hotel is reasonable. Lots to do and see - the Lanes and the laines, the Pavilion. Nice bar at the theatre. Good open top tour bus - hop on hop off. Good cafes on beach side.
